About Us
The First Coast Car Council, an organization established in 1986, is made up of numerous local car clubs, as well as individual members, and business partners that help make our common goals a reality. We are a local group with a primary goal of advancing the auto enthusiasts hobby. Our years of experience show that it is best to work together toward this common goal and hopefully avoid conflicting events. The First Coast Car Council is open to all car, truck and motorcycle clubs in the North Florida and South Georgia area, as well as individual enthusiasts. We host weekly Saturday night Cruise-In's open to the public and free of charge. We call them "Cruise-In's" because even though there is a scheduled start and end time, you are free to cruise in or out as you like.
Our charity of choice is Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville, Inc. and in the past nine years we have helped raise $274,000 for the house. In the past sixteen years, our fund raising efforts have helped a variety of charities as well. Through a combined group effort, we have exceeded $330,000. In 2001 the First Coast Car Council was presented the OUTSTANDING CIVIC ASSOCIATION AWARD by the Association of Fundraising Professionals for our charity work in our community.
We support our community in various ways, one of which is helping promote events. If you are not a member of the First Coast Car Council and are planning an event, we encourage you to join the First Coast Car Council as a club or business member to get the full support of the First Coast Car Council and its membership. Contact us here or by phone and ask to attend one of our business meetings as a guest and be included on the agenda. That way you can tell us about your business, club, or event, see what we are all about, and the support we can provide.
We would like to know you before you pass out event flyers at our Cruise Ins. It will help us better support your event. Our Monthly Car Council Meetings are held the first Tuesday of the month at 7 PM. Location: The meeting location is the Cross Creek BBQ and Steakhouse Restaurant. They have a separate meeting room. Their address is 850 Lane Ave, Jacksonville, Fl. 32205.
Membership Information:
We have 3 levels of membership available and it's easy to join!
Club - $25.00/year - Provides access to voting rights for 1 club representative, Club information and logo listed on our Member Clubs webpage, event exposure as needed via Social Media, Calendar, Weekly Mailings and at our weekly Cruise In's.
Individual Enthusiast - $10.00/year - No voting privileges, no access to our Social Media for event promotions. You may address our membership for an event you may be a part of at our Monthly Meets and you will receive the Weekly Mailings.
Business Partner - $100.00/year - Provides access to voting rights for 1 business representative, Business information and logo listed on our Business and Sponsor webpage, event exposure as needed via Social Media, Calendar, Weekly Mailings and at our weekly Cruise In's.
