Our Charity of Choice

Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville

In 1993 the First Coast Car Council (FCCC) of Jacksonville chose the Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville to be their charity of choice. The council wanted to support a charity that kept the money they raised local and also see, first hand, how their hard work had contributed to the charity. The Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville, an organization that supports the health and well-being of children by providing housing and various other services for critically ill, chronically ill and seriously injured children and their families in Jacksonville, Florida, was the ideal choice.

Since then, through numerous cars shows, car raffles and various other fund raising events, the council has managed to donate over $327,000 to the Ronald McDonald House organization. During the 2015 year, the council was able to donate $20,000 thanks to the support of the community and the local car clubs that make up the FCCC. In addition, the FCCC was involved in the building of the new house where it now stands and has had an area dedicated to the council in the house. The FCCC has continued it's support by being involved in the latest expansion of the house. More details regarding future projects with the Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville will be forth coming as construction on the expansion approaches its completion around the March/April time frame.

The First Coast Car Council expresses their most sincere thanks to all the car clubs, businesses, local community, and the many, many people who have put in countless hours and dollars to help us help the Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville in what they do for the many children and their families by providing an environment that encourages a sense of hope, enthusiasm, courage, joy and healing.
